How do I sign up on Workpop?

Go to /auth/register and choose whether you want to post jobs (client) or apply (provider). Just email and password — you’ll get an OTP code to verify.

Can I use one account as both client and provider?

For now an account has a single role, but you can create two with different emails. Dual-role is on the roadmap.

How do I change my password or email?

Does posting cost anything?

No, never. Posting is and will always be free. No credit card required.

How does auto-categorization work?

Describe what you need in plain words: Anthropic’s Claude (running on our servers) classifies it in two seconds. You can correct before posting.

Can I edit the job after applications?

Yes, except the category (so existing applicants’ expectations stay valid). You can update title, description, budget, photos, deadline.

How many applications can I receive?

Up to 50 per job by default. You can raise or lower this in the job settings.

How do I show up among the offers?

On /jobs filter by canton and category, open a job and click "Apply". Enter price, availability and a short message.

Can I counter-offer the price?

Yes. When the client replies, you can come back with a new price. Up to 10 alternating rounds of negotiation.

What if I accept and then can’t deliver?

Once the contract is signed, it’s a commitment. If something comes up, contact the client in chat immediately. Repeated cancellations lower your rating.

What’s in the digital contract?

Title, agreed price, deadline, final description, parties’ details and a SHA-256 hash that proves the terms weren’t changed after signature.

Does Workpop handle payments?

No. Payment happens directly between client and provider (cash, transfer, Twint). Workpop keeps nothing and isn’t an escrow service for now.

How do reviews work?

They can be left only after a completed contract. Both client and provider can review each other. Reviews are public on the profiles.

How do I report a user or misbehavior?

On every profile, job and application there’s a "Report" button. Pick a reason (spam, scam, inappropriate, other) and add a description. The admin team gets a notification.
