From sign-up to your first odd job.

  • Create your free profile

It takes a few minutes: name, photo, skills, cantons and a short intro. A complete profile helps clients trust you.

  • Find jobs near you

Browse open jobs by canton, category and distance. Your dashboard also suggests open jobs that may suit you.

  • Send your offer

Reply with a price, a date and a short message. Negotiate in the chat: up to 10 proposals, all saved.

  • Agree and work

When you agree, both sides get a digital contract. You do the job, and the client pays you directly.

  • Build your reputation

After each completed contract, the client can leave a review. Good reviews help you win more jobs.

  • Get paid directly

Payments do not go through Workpop. Cash, bank transfer or TWINT: you agree with the client.

Questions from providers

  • Do I have to pay to use Workpop?
No. Signing up, applying and the digital contract are free. Workpop keeps nothing of the job price.
  • How do I get paid?
The client pays you directly, as agreed in your contract: cash, bank transfer or TWINT. Workpop does not handle payments.
  • Am I employed or self-employed?
Whether someone counts as self-employed or employed for AHV/AVS (Swiss social security) is decided by the compensation office case by case, based on the actual circumstances, not on the contract. Babysitting in the parents’ home counts as employment. In general, a private household that pays someone for household work is their employer and must settle AHV/IV/EO contributions from the first franc. Check your obligations with your cantonal AHV compensation office.
  • Can I choose which jobs I apply to?
Yes, always. You see the open jobs and decide where to apply. There is no obligation.
  • What if a client does not pay?
Talk to the client first. The contract is a written record of the agreed price and date, so keep it. You can also contact our support team.
