Safety on Workpop: tips for clients and providers.
Workpop is built to protect both sides. Every account has a confirmed email address, reviews come from completed jobs, contracts are in writing, and people read every report.
What Workpop does to keep you safe.
Confirmed email
Every account has a confirmed email address – by a one-time code, or through Google sign-in. This is not an identity check. Providers can ask for a “Verified” badge by showing an ID document to our team.
Reviews from real jobs
Reviews are only possible after a completed contract. Buying or faking reviews breaks our rules.
Digital contract
Each contract has a SHA-256 hash. It shows that the terms have not changed since signing. Keep a copy.
Reports checked by people
You can report any profile or job. Our team reviews every report and can suspend accounts.
Simple safety rules
Workpop works best when everyone follows a few basic rules.
Do
- Use the Workpop chat until the contract is signed. It keeps a record.
- Check profiles: reviews, completed jobs and city. Take extra care with new profiles that have no reviews.
- Agree on the price, date and payment method before work starts. Put them in the digital contract.
- Leave an honest review after each contract. It helps everyone.
- Report anyone who suggests undeclared payments or other suspicious deals.
Avoid
- Do not share bank details, ID copies or private photos in the chat. Workpop will never ask for them there.
- Do not pay large deposits to someone you have not met or who has no references.
- Do not move to WhatsApp or Telegram before the contract. You lose the record of what was agreed.
- Do not click links in messages from people you do not know. They may be phishing.
- Do not leave reviews for work that was not done. This breaks our rules and can lead to suspension.
